He is the author of Scribes & Scripture: The Amazing Story of How We Got the Bible (with Peter) and The Biblical Canon Lists from Early Christianity (with Ed Gallagher). Peter Gurry (PhD, University of Cambridge) is Associate Professor of New Testament at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where he teaches courses on the New Testament.
