Academic Colloquia

As part of its mission to foster scholarship, the Text & Canon Institute hosts academic colloquia that bring together top scholars in the field to present and publish their work on key aspects of the textual history, canonical formation, and translation of both the Old and New Testament.

The end goal is a published volume with revised papers that advance our knowledge of the subject. Our first colloquia in November 2021 examined the philological work of Origen of Alexandria and our second considered the topic of text-types in New Testament textual criticism in July 2024.
